The theme of this lyrical concert will focus on the music of Bach and its influence on the work of Latin American composers, including Heitor Villa-Lobos and Astor Piazzolla, among others. Additional poetic depth will be enhanced by pieces by Fauré or Granados in the forms of an Italian Sicilienne or a dreamy lullaby, evoking memories of Oriental music.
